Over 95pc taxepayers failed ST returns
ISLMABAD:over 95 percent taxpayers have successfuLLy field sales tax returns for the
tax periods of    july and august 2011.sources told business recorder here on friday
that a very small percentage taxpayers have notyet faild their returns for these tax
periods and FBR extended an oppertunity to those taxpayerswho could not file the return
due to some technicall reason of the efilling system .

In this the FBR hasther clerified  that those taxpayers who will communicat problem of e-filing on theabove refferd email





address will not be charged any penatly of late filling if they do up tooctober 21,2011.
this last oppertunity to file the return after launching of newly introduced sales tex
returns by the FBR starting from this financial year has been offered by the FBR after
resolving all the known know problems in the e-filing system.sources siad that now
taxpayers have stated filing returns for tax periods of july and August 2011,without facing
any problem and returns for this month will be filed in a timely mannerThe return filing
date of sales tax is 15th of every month and those taxpayers who make any tax
payment can file the return within three days after 15th of the month.

Crude oil facilitates a high of three weeks before the auction of Italian Soon fell to 0.45%, at a session low of USD100.88 per barrel trading.
 

The oil price rose to USD101.75 per barrel Tuesday, its highest level since 7 December, after the promotion in the last six sessions, the longest string of gains since November 2010.

 The trade volume is expected to be thin, even after the Christmas break and run to the end of the holiday of the year, irregularly low liquidity and volatility.

Italy had planned, tickets for € 9,000,000 € 2.5 billion six months to sell in two years of zero-coupon bonds at the end of the day. The country 8.5 billion auction of long-term debt maturing in 2014-2022 on Thursday.

The answer to the auction is an indicator of whether the government's obligations in difficulty will be bought by European banks after the injection of cash from the European Central Bank last week.

Before the auction, the yield of 10 years in Italy, bonds are near the threshold of 7%, a level considered sustainable in the long term suspended.

The euro-zone dominated trade in the oil market in recent months, amid fears that the crisis of the national debt a broader economic slowdown reduced demand for oil could cause.
